HouseRevive is a renovation connection and project-intake service based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We help homeowners connect with independent local renovation professionals. This policy explains how we handle personal information.
Information we collect
When you submit a project or contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, postal code, city, optional street address, and details about your renovation project, timeline and budget range.
We also collect limited technical and marketing information, such as the page you arrived on, the referring website, campaign parameters (for example UTM tags), and basic usage data through cookies or similar technologies, including analytics and advertising tools.
How we use your information
To review your renovation request, contact you by phone, text or email about it, connect you with suitable renovation professionals, improve our service, and measure the effectiveness of our website and advertising.
Sharing with renovation professionals
By submitting a project, you consent to HouseRevive sharing your project information and contact details with selected local renovation professionals for the purpose of responding to your request. These professionals are independent businesses and are responsible for their own handling of your information.
We may also share information with service providers who help us operate (for example, hosting, customer relationship management and communications tools), and where required by law. We do not sell your information to data brokers.
Advertising measurement (Meta)
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising. These tools collect information about your visit — such as pages viewed, actions taken (for example, submitting a project form), your browser and device, and your IP address — and share it with Meta so we can understand whether our ads lead to project requests.
Meta may use this information in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can control how Meta uses your data for ads in your Facebook/Instagram ad preferences, and you can block these cookies through your browser settings.
Consent and your choices
You may withdraw consent to further contact at any time by replying STOP to text messages, using the unsubscribe link in emails, or contacting us. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to help with your request.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
